Why online orders disappoint

Stock that wasn't really stock, delivery added at the last screen, and a return that took three emails.

How we work

Say what you hold, price what it costs

An item listed as available and then delayed for a week is the most common complaint in online retail, and it's entirely avoidable. Listing honestly costs a few sales and keeps the customers who'd otherwise never come back.

Delivery should be visible before payment. Adding it on the final screen works once; it also guarantees the order is the last one that customer places with you.

And returns are a legal right, not a favour. Consumers have 14 days to cancel most online orders, and treating that as a normal part of trading rather than an argument is simply how it's supposed to work.

Our principles

Three beliefs behind the method

List real stock

If we don't hold it, we say so.

Price delivery up front

No surprises at the final screen.

Returns without an argument

14 days is your right, not a concession.
